A few weeks ago, Krystle at Paper Fort Studio invited me to do a guest post on her Fear Confessions column. I met Krystle in Palm Springs at the Designer Vaca retreat at the Ace Hotel. We were roommates and I was all sorts of inspired by her. She's so much of a DOER, that she does things RIGHT AWAY. As in, she had an idea that weekend and started working on it that same day—and she's still working on it. This was in September. That's one reason I like Krystle, but one reason I like the column is that I have a hard time turning down anything that invites realness. People hashtag sunsets with #nofilter, but that's easy because it's a FREAKING SUNSET. If we #nofilter our fears, what do we get? Vulnerability...and we find out we're not alone. My confession is something I've been thinking about a lot lately and I'm certain I'm not the only one. You can see the original post here.
And there you have the fear: succeeding at that which does not matter.
Though I’ll miss my blissful ignorance, I’m thankful that my fear has evolved into what it has. It keeps me on my toes and requires me to regain, refocus and find my anchor. Step by step by step by step.
